Nichole Safety Chair Meetings are fourth Wed of every month. I'm raising funds for a city council campaign.

Neil Community Green street meeting. Neil will be going and shouts out for others p> Russel Senior: Personal telco project got grant for the neighborhood to put in free wireless will have a meeting for neighbor hood soon

Land Use:
At the board meeting we discussed having a visioning group to incorporate the albina plan to make decisions based on them. To help us work with developers and projects. Brake out session after meeting. Will be apart of landuse.

We have an application for an expanded liquor license for Por Que No. Please send concerns to government

Safety:
People from shaver Gatienbien met to talk about school signs at SEI.
A business was robed/ Grab and dash on the street and now businesses were invited to attend safety meetings.
Gathering names from each block to flier.

Pete Sorenson:
BNA doesn't endorse any political candidate
Democratic candidate for Oregon. Has been on many boards, was a senator. Is a lain county commissioner. He doesn't like our current democratic Governor and is running against them.

League of Women Voters:
Amanda Fritz: we're doing a study currently on Neighborhood associations. I'm excited about the Portland system. We want to quantify and qualify.

A: get community involved in issues
bring people together and provide a forum for discussion
provide rep of diverse voices to city government
allows a way to solve problems and create community through programming

2: 5 greatest accomplishments of BNA
A: Creating Unthank Park
National Night out
Stopped development of rental building
Fliered the whole neighbor hood two months in a row
crime prevention
Handling gentrification better than alberta

3: What should be the purpose of the office of Neighborhood involvement and District Coalition
A: ONA facilitate direct democracy by coming up with structures for votes that are taken at NA meetings to the rest of government.
District Coalition: help NA's identify resources to utilize. Should address NA concern before they go to the Government.

Sarah Minnik- we're moving up the street to the brick house next to the green house. Pink house Will be an office.

Presentation of Green Space Grant to Kirisu's:
Justin gave them the letter and a $2000 check
